Which of the running backs has a better chance?

It’s very possible that neither of these runners make it onto the top-100 list due to the fact that the talk in Denver is that there will be a close split in carries between the two.

There is also the possibility that one completely out-does the other.

Lindsay made the NFL Network Top 100 list last season, coming in at 68. Gordon was all the way up to 34.

That alone makes me believe that Gordon will make the list while Lindsay could find himself off of it.

Both have over 70 percent catch percentage (Gordon with 75 percent; Lindsay with 73.7 percent). Gordon has had much more experience, as Lindsay is entering just his third year though.

I think that one of the biggest deciding factors is whether or not Gordon can stay healthy. He has missed 13 games in his five seasons in the league—all with the Chargers.

With the arrival of Gordon, Lindsay has a better chance at making it through the season without major injury. The fact that there will not be a preseason in 2020 also really helps him.

I don’t know if/where either of these backs will rank on the NFL Network’s Top 100 but it would not surprise me if one of them does.
