What happens at left tackle?

The left tackle position is one to keep a close eye on as there have been some, including John Elway, who have stated that there is an open competition between former first-round pick Garett Bolles and Elijah Wilkinson.

I have made it clear that I don’t think Wilkinson is in the running for that position.

Though Wilkinson can be a nice swing tackle off the bench, this is really more about Bolles. It will be interesting to see if he comes out with a chip on his shoulder, focused and determined to be the guy the Broncos drafted.

That’s what I am expecting to see.

Bolles has committed a ridiculous amount of penalties in his young career, but he is still the best option the Broncos have at the left tackle spot and the fact that the team did not draft one or sign one in free agency does speak volumes.

And what about Wilkinson? Will he come out playing with the fire to actually supplant Bolles? Will he be the guy who looks better on the field in practice?

dark. Next. The most underpaid players on the Broncos' roster

This will really be one of the better aspects of camp this year if it is in fact an actual competition.
