Emmanuel Sanders got some work in with Denver Broncos rookie Jerry Jeudy.

From one number 10 to the next.

The torch is unofficially being passed from Emmanuel Sanders to Jerry Jeudy in 2020 after the Denver Broncos made an in-season trade last year sending Sanders to the 49ers before using a first-round pick on Jeudy in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Jeudy has been blessing all of us with fun content throughout the 2020 offseason, most of which highlights his unbelievable footwork, quickness, and route running.

This particular bit of content involves Jeudy and Sanders working together on the same field, showing off their skills as receivers. It also includes some one-on-one conversation with Sanders and Jeudy.

At one point in the video, shortly after the 30-second mark, Sanders is having a sit-down talk with Jeudy and says:

"I’m looking forward to seeing yall boys. Yall should be dangerous…In his second year, if he do what he did last year, it’s gonna be special."

Sanders, who is now going to be catching passes from Drew Brees with the New Orleans Saints, got his wish last season and was traded to the San Francisco 49ers, who ended up making it all the way to the Super Bowl thanks largely to his presence in the passing game.

Even though Sanders is no longer a Bronco, he is a major part of Denver Broncos history and in a short amount of time (2014-19) he established himself truly as one of the best receivers the team has ever had.

It’s very cool to see Sanders and Jeudy getting some work together. Maybe one day they will be able to trade jerseys.

Not in 2020, though.

Among Sanders’ encouragement to Jeudy about the Broncos’ offense potentially being ‘dangerous’ this year, it sounds like he gives a compliment to second-year quarterback Drew Lock. When I first heard the quote about the player ‘in his second year’ I thought Sanders was referring to Courtland Sutton and perhaps had a Freudian slip.

Thinking about it a little bit more, he’s got to be talking about Lock. Lock had a very fun start to his NFL career in 2019, helping the Broncos to four wins which included an all-time NFL performance for a rookie in his first road start against the Houston Texans.

Next. Melvin Gordon's arrival is not bad for Phillip Lindsay. dark

If Lock can do that, Sanders is right — this Broncos offense will be dangerous.
