Week 8: 2015 vs. Green Bay Packers
Although the Denver Broncos did not have many great offensive performances throughout the 2015 season, it appeared they had hit some sort of stride in this week eight matchup against Aaron Rodgers and the undefeated Green Bay Packers.
This game from the Broncos was one of the most dominant all-around performances you will ever see from an eventual championship team.
Many thought this could be a Super Bowl preview of that particular season, but the Broncos downright embarrassed the Packers and they did it wearing the same uniform combination they wore in Super Bowl XXXIII.
Aaron Rodgers threw for just 77 yards in this one, and the Denver defense went off, sacking Rodgers three times and hitting him seven.
The Broncos ran on the Packers — CJ Anderson had 101 yards and a touchdown with over seven yards per carry while Ronnie Hillman had two touchdowns — they threw on the Packers — Demaryius Thomas had 168 yards on eight catches and the tight ends had over 100 yards combined –, and they dominated defensively.
This 29-10 win by the Broncos at home on the night Pat Bowlen was enshrined to the team’s Ring of Fame was the most impressive regular-season win of the 2015 campaign.
