6. Just seven losing seasons under Pat Bowlen’s ownership

Pat Bowlen was the ultimate leader as the owner of the Broncos. Even following his passing a year ago, people still talk about what type of person he was. He was a players’ owner.

There were stories about how he always checked up on his players and their personal lives. He wanted to make sure everybody was okay. That alone is a great reason for wanting to play for Mr. Bowlen.

Bowlen’s Broncos ended up winning three Super Bowls, quarterbacked by two separate Hall of Fame guys and some other talent around them.

Since Bowlen bought the Broncos, the team has won more than 50 percent of its games 20 times.

Bowlen’s accomplishments were officially noticed by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019 when he was inducted into the greatest place pro football players hope to end up: the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Bowlen was good at attracting winners. The Broncos and their fans truly miss him.
