Bottom line

There are tons of other success stories in Denver Broncos history revolving around undrafted free agents who wound up eventually cracking the roster.

Ever heard of a guy named Rod Smith?

He made the Broncos’ practice squad as a rookie in 1994 and made the final roster in 1995 before becoming arguably the best wide receiver in franchise history.

Todd Davis was not discovered by the Broncos, but he was an undrafted rookie in 2014 whose work in the preseason led to his being poached by the Broncos in the 2014 season. He still starts for the team to this day.

There are many other key starters and role players through the years whose impact on the Denver Broncos’ franchise and throughout the NFL has been downright tremendous.

The Broncos are counting on a couple of former UDFA stars in AJ Bouye and Bryce Callahan to be their top two starters at cornerback in 2020.
