A new season brings possibilities for many Denver Broncos players to have a great season.

There is a buzz in the building regarding the Denver Broncos heading into the 2020 season.

The optimism begins with the start of the Drew Lock era. Lock finished the 2019 season on a high note solidifying his spot as the starter for the foreseeable future. This has created a media frenzy surrounding Lock and the team. However, due to Vic Fangio’s calm presence with the team, the hype does not seem to faze them one bit.

As such, the preparation for the upcoming years ar will go as planned.

One of the great things about the offseason in the NFL is the plethora of hot takes. For those who need clarification, hot takes are bordering on outlandish ideas of what we believe will happen. This does not mean it is going to happen. It is simply a prediction.

The Broncos have numerous scenarios that can unfold during the 2020 season with the roster trending in the right direction. Both offensively and defensively, the Broncos seem to be finding themselves looking more like playoff contenders based on their head coach, stability at quarterback, and defense.

With faith in Drew Lock, the Broncos decided to build around him giving him a full arsenal of talent at the offensive skill positions. Defensively, there were upgrades from players who missed significant time or are assuming a starter role in their first full season.

Everything does seem to be lining up nicely for Denver to be much improved this season, but expectations should still be tempered. Despite multiple additions and the excitement around a young quarterback, it is very important to still take this season in stride.

Fans must show patience with a young team like Denver. Due to the Broncos having a youth movement, it is vital to remember this growth takes a few years to mesh collectively.

However, based on my excitement level with the Denver Broncos and the new players, let’s take a look at eight of my most boiling hot takes for the upcoming season.
