Courtland Sutton

The Broncos selected Cortland Sutton in 2018 assuming it would take him several years to acclimate to the NFL game. Sutton accelerated his learning curve to break out in 2019 and solidify himself as a legitimate WR1.

Sutton put the league on notice with a stat line of 72 catches for 1,112yards and 6 touchdowns. most of that production was without a significant receiving threat on the other side.

The progression of Noah Fant and the arrival of Melvin Gordon, Jerry Jeudy, and KJ Hamler may cost Sutton a few targets, but the 24-year-old will handle enough work to allow for WR2 production.”

  • Pass Rec – 80
  • Rec Yards – 1110
  • Rec TD – 7
  • Fumbles – 0

Jerry Jeudy

Jerry Jeudy was a steal at number 15 overall of the 2020 NFL draft. Denver selected Jeudy with the 15th pick of April’s draft.

The 6-foot-1, 193-pound receiver shows a diverse skillset that plays well outside of the slot.

Jeudy is fast (4.45 40-yard dash), and a terrific route-runner.

Jeudy should slide in right behind Courtland Sutton as WR2 and contribute right away. However, don’t expect a 1,000-yard season just yet. Jeudy’s real production will come in 2021 and beyond.

  • Pass Rec – 56
  • Rec Yards – 710
  • Rec TD – 5
  • Fumbles – 1

KJ Hamler

KJ Hamler is a dynamic athlete with speed to burn. His lack of size means that the offense will most likely scheme him touches to get him into space.

Hamler’s drops are a concern as he had 9 in 2019 for Penn State. However, look for him to produce big plays for an offense that desperately needs someone to take the top off of the defense for Sutton, Jeudy, and Fant to work underneath.

  • Pass Rec – 30
  • Rec Yards – 400
  • Rec TD – 2
  • Fumbles – 1

Tim Patrick

Tim Patrick will produce on third downs and maybe leaned on quite a bit early in the season. He will most likely lose out on opportunities as Jeudy and Hamler begin to gain traction in the offense.

  • Pass Rec – 24
  • Rec Yards – 270
  • Rec TD – 2
  • Fumbles – 0
