Original Pick:

Bowling Green. player. 2242. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. C. KoryLichtensteiger. 108

New Pick:

Kory Lichtensteiger did not amount to anything with the Broncos. He only spent a single season in Denver before moving on to Washington with the Redskins.

Quintin Demps had a much longer career in the league. He probably would have been a starter for the Broncos, who had Marquand Manuel and Marlon McCree as the starters.

Original Pick:

New Pick:

Like Lichtensteiger, cornerback Jack Williams just wasn’t a good pick. He spent just one season with the Broncos before moving on to the Detroit Lions and also spent time in several other football leagues.

Bryant had a decent career for the Seahawks. He recorded 120 tackles and 3.5 sacks, as well as 14 tackles for loss and 15 quarterback hits. He would have been a better option at defensive tackle than Dewayne Robertson and Marcus Thomas.

New Pick:

Arizona State. 139. 854. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. RB. RyanTorain. player

New Pick:

The Broncos had a problem with keeping running backs healthy in 2008. Torain was one of those backs who were injured early on. He missed the first three months of the season with a broken elbow. Later on, he injured his knee.

Brandon Carr’s career is on hold as of right now due to him being a free agent, but he has been pretty good. He was drafted by the Chiefs and spent four years in Kansas City before moving on to Dallas for five seasons, and Baltimore for three.

Carr has 702 tackles and 21 interceptions in his career. He also has nine fumble recoveries. The Broncos did not have a lot of talent behind starters Champ Bailey and Dre’ Bly, so Carr could have been a solid pick.

Original Pick

New Pick:

UCLA. MatthewSlater. 148. player. 836. Scouting Report. WR. Pick Analysis

If you don’t remember the name Carlton Powell, I wouldn’t blame you. Powell ruptured his Achilles tendon and the Broncos placed him on the PUP list. He ended up being waived on September 4, 2009.

His only statistics came in 2011 as a member of the Falcons. Powell had just one tackle in three games played.

Matthew Slater has been a good special teams player for the Patriots. He has 155 tackles, and 637 return yards.
