The Denver Broncos are planning on 2020 being the year that the team gets back.

One of the proudest franchises throughout the history of the NFL, the Denver Broncos and the team’s fans are not used to a string of losing. Pat Bowlen bought the team in 1984 and built one of the best winning traditions in all of professional sports.

Fans came to expect a winning, competitive team, but since the team won Super Bowl 50, there has been plenty of disappointment.

The Broncos have missed the playoffs in each of the last four seasons, the longest streak the team has suffered since missing the postseason five straight years from 2006-10. You have to go all the way back to the AFL days to find one longer.

The Broncos were a perennial playoff team for much of Bowlen’s time at the helm. The team is doing what it can to restore that tradition and many believe that 2020 will be the start.

The team is looking to bounce back after going 27-37 in the last four years. The way the team performed down the stretch last season coupled with the offseason the organization has put together has brought on a new sense of hope.

The Broncos have been down before, but they don’t stay there long. In sequential order, here are the five best bounce-back seasons in team history.
