Denver Broncos cornerback Bryce Callahan looks to be ready for the 2020 NFL season.

Bryce Callahan was a big free agent signing by the Denver Broncos in the 2019 offseason. Unfortunately, he was unable to help the team in any games due to suffering a foot injury and experiencing complications throughout the year.

There appears to be proof that Callahan now is healed from those 2019 setbacks. Videos surfaced on Friday of Callahan doing some drills and working out, and he looks darn good.

One of those drills is him doing some backpedaling, which is obviously a crucial part of being a defensive back.

This is obviously such a good sign. Even though the status of training camp and even the 2020 season is up in the air, it is important for everybody to be prepared. Callahan is getting there.

In this video, Callahan is showing off more athleticism. He appears to be moving really well.

The Broncos really need Callahan to be available for the future, as their top cornerback Chris Harris Jr. left the team via free agency to sign with the Los Angeles Chargers this offseason. They don’t have a ton of experience at the position but Callahan was a big part of Vic Fangio’s defense with the Chicago Bears over the last few years.

The Broncos hope that he will live up to expectations over the next couple of years. Who knows, maybe he will earn an extension by the end of this contract.

Travis Wakeman labeled Callahan as the Broncos’ biggest wildcard heading into the 2020 season.

It will be interesting to see how Callahan does in a Broncos uniform in 2020 and beyond. He has not really had the chance to play alongside the other Broncos defenders yet. Communication between the defensive backs could be a problem.

For his career, Callahan has recorded 123 tackles, four interceptions, and four sacks.
