Defensive Line

The Broncos did let defensive end Derek Wolfe move on in free agency but made up for it by trading for Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey and drafting McTelvin Agim.

It is an easy trade-off based on Wolfe’s absence of availability. Wolfe missed 20 games in his eight seasons with the Broncos, finishing just three seasons with 16 games played.

Casey brings an interior pass rush that the Broncos need. He has 51 sacks in his career, which began in 2011 with Tennessee.

DeMarcus Walker is a guy who showed some good things last year and hopefully will continue to as he continues his career on the defensive line after starting out (mistakenly) at linebacker.

Next. Denver Broncos: Steve Atwater’s HOF Ceremony will have to wait. dark

Look for Dre’Mont Jones and Mike Purcell to continue to improve in 2020, making this one strong defensive unit.
