Shelby Harris

Following a strong season last year, all signs pointed to Shelby Harris leaving the Broncos for another team. But his market dried up quickly as he was likely asking for too much money.

The Broncos were then able to re-sign Harris at a reduced rate, bringing him back into the fold and bolstering the defensive line, which was one of the biggest weaknesses entering the offseason.

Harris will look to repeat the feat in 2020 and look for a new, bigger deal in the offseason, whether that be from the Broncos or another team.

Harris is coming off his best season, collecting 49 total tackles and six sacks. He was one of the best players on defense all season long and he ended the season by knocking down a potential game-winning two-point conversion in the season finale against the Oakland Raiders.

Should Harris have another big year this season, he should have an easier time finding work elsewhere and because of the depth the Broncos have collected along the offensive line, the team should have an easier time letting him go.
