DE DeMarcus Walker

DeMarcus Walker was a solid contributor for the Broncos in the 2019 season. But after his first two seasons went unnoticed due to being put in the wrong position, nobody really talks about him.

Walker is one of just three 2017 draft picks by the Broncos that is still on the team. Vic Fangio seems to have found a role for him along the defensive line. With the departure of Derek Wolfe to the Baltimore Ravens, Walker should see a significant amount of snaps in his fourth season with the team.

His stat production isn’t elite, but he absolutely made a jump from years one and two to year three. After accumulating just eight solo tackles in his first two seasons, Walker reached 14 in 2019.

It will be interesting to see what kind of impact Walker will have with the help of Bradley Chubb’s return and Von Miller hopefully rebounding with another double-digit sack season. The Broncos also added defensive tackle Jurrell Casey via a trade with the Tennessee Titans this offseason, which will help free Walker up to be able to get to the quarterback or ball carrier.
