Denver Broncos: Predicting offensive star Madden 21 ratings
Courtland Sutton Madden 20 rating: 84 OVR
Courtland Sutton went from being on a team with Emmanuel Sanders to becoming the the No. 1 receiver on the team.
With Sanders as a teammate, Sutton caught 78 passes for 1,181 yards.
Now, Sutton becomes the top receiver in Denver, and therefore, he will and should be very highly-rated in his third season in the league.
Some of Sutton’s ratings in last year’s game were:
Speed (89)
Awareness (87)
Acceleration (92)
Agility (92)
His catch rating was also rated at 92.
I anticipate his speed will probably stay the same. It is not something that is teachable, it’s just something a player either has or doesn’t have.
His acceleration was a pretty respectable 92, and that is something that could improve. Though, I don’t think it should change drastically.
Sutton started the 2019 season with an overall rating of 76. By the mid-way point of the season, he was at 80 overall, and as the Super Bowl came, Sutton was at an 84 overall.
That’s a big jump throughout the season. It is obvious that Sutton really improved.
Madden 21 rating prediction: 87 OVR
I would love to say that Sutton would be in the 90’s overall, but he unfortunately isn’t viewed as “elite” (yet). But as far as overall rating, I think that is a solid starting point.
Sutton is going to continue to prove to everybody that he is deserving of a rating in the 90s. This will just be a chip on his shoulder going forward.
The third-year wideout has made some pretty spectacular catches in his two seasons with the Broncos.
