8. Houston Texans

The Trio

  • Brandin Cooks
  • Will Fuller
  • Randall Cobb (SLOT)

With the honorable mention of Kenny Stills, it’s a bit shocking to see the Texans still on this list after trading away DeAndre Hopkins, isn’t it?

When all of these guys are healthy with DeShaun Watson throwing passes, this is a really good receiver trio and perhaps a better sum of its parts than the one with Hopkins last year.

If the Texans can find some chemistry with this group, both Cooks and Fuller are really tough to defend in the vertical passing game. Cobb proved last season in Dallas that he’s still got plenty in the tank as well, catching 55 passes at over 15 yards a reception.

Fuller is injury-prone but is one of the most impactful vertical receivers in the league when he’s on the field. He impacts the game even when he doesn’t get the ball.

Add in the versatility of Stills to this group and the Texans have a really strong receiver group heading into 2020.
