The Trio

  • Mike Evans
  • Chris Godwin
  • Tyler Johnson

Although some will dispute this because of WR3 Tyler Johnson, the Buccaneers have one of the best receiver trios in the NFL and it starts with Mike Evans, Mr. Consistent.

Evans has never missed 1,000 yards in his six NFL seasons, even after only playing 13 games last season. He has 48 touchdown grabs in that time and has established himself among the elite WR1s in the NFL.

Chris Godwin recently burst onto the scene with 16 touchdowns in the past two seasons and 86 receptions for 1,333 yards last year.

The duo of Evans and Godwin is probably the best duo in the NFL right now, but the addition of Tyler Johnson in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft is an underrated one. He was a big-time playmaker at Minnesota the past few seasons with 25 touchdowns from 2018-19.

He should fit right into a slot role in Bruce Arians’ heavy passing attack.
