Do the Denver Broncos have the best WR trio in the NFL?

The fact that the question is even being asked is huge, but do the Denver Broncos have the best trio of wide receivers in the NFL?

That’s a complicated question that led to a lot of fun research around the NFL.

The Broncos used their top two picks in the 2020 NFL Draft on Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy and Penn State’s KJ Hamler, effectively placing them in the discussion among the league’s best when it comes to wide receiver trios.

Courtland Sutton has established himself as the alpha in this group after his sensational sophomore campaign in which he caught 72 passes for 1,112 yards and eight touchdowns.

If we were talking about entire offensive skill units, there might be no doubt in my mind that the Broncos have the best group in the NFL. For this exercise, however, we’re looking just at every team’s top three receivers or their presumed top three receivers.

For the purposes of this exercise, I want to look at all teams on an even playing field. That means while injury history is considered, everyone gets a clean slate for the 2020 season and I’m also factoring in my personal thoughts on which players will progress and fit in well with new teams and systems, whether they arrived in their new cities via trade, free agency, or the NFL Draft.

Do the Broncos have the best wide receiver trio in the NFL? Let’s take a look at a countdown of the top 10 groups the league has to offer right now.
