DE: Simon Fletcher

Defensive end Simon Fletcher was the Broncos’ all-time sack leader following a tremendous career that spanned from 1985 to 1995. He finished his career with 97.5 sacks.

That record was held by Fletcher until this past season when Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller broke it.

Fletcher was a dominant player who beat opposing offensive linemen with ease. He was a fierce defender who, when he got to the quarterback, made sure the passer knew who he was.

He laid some pretty big hits on quarterbacks. Those hits would generate a penalty flag in today’s game.

Fletcher was inducted into the Broncos’ Ring of Fame in 2016.
