There are many impact rookies on the Denver Broncos roster in 2020.

The Denver Broncos in the last two drafts have hit home runs regarding a few players that have grown into significant contributors for the team. From solidifying the quarterback position to snagging two wide receivers, offensive linemen, and a tight end to undrafted free agent contributions it has been incredible to watch unfold.

Fast-forwarding to the 2020 NFL Draft, Denver seems to have hit yet another home run with this class.

The Broncos made it a priority to upgrade their offense with many contributors upfront and at the skill positions. It will take a few seasons before a majority will hit their stride, but some can impact the team in positions with an immediate need.

One position on the surface looks great but in terms of multiple playmakers at wide receiver, it seems like a no brainer. If Denver is to compete with Kansas City, then they will have to feed the ball to their new skill players.

As such, wide receiver became a huge priority next to Courtland Sutton. Sutton became a star in just his second season and with that stardom comes added pressure. He will be constantly facing the opposition’s top corner. Therefore, Denver needed a guy to complement him to release some stress.

With Connor McGovern leaving in free agency to the New York Jets, the Broncos were able to turn to a new center. The question became what direction they would go. In free agency, it seemed with Graham Glasgow being destined for right guard the attention for the center would come in the draft. Denver has had success in the past getting contributors in the later rounds.

Whether it was late or not, Denver needed a new anchor.

Offensive tackle certainly received a bunch of scrutiny on the left side, but Denver looks content with Garett Bolles holding down the fort for at least one more season. Obviously, this will create some panic from fans, but Bolles still has a chance to succeed under Mike Munchak.

On the defensive side of the ball, Denver addressed the cornerback position with AJ Bouye coming from Jacksonville. This left questions of whether the team would still address cornerback again in free agency or draft.

Bouye will be the number one locking down the top wideout. But opposite him, there are questions.

Obviously, under Vic Fangio, the secondary can be successful no matter the player. With Chris Harris and few others lower on the depth chart, Fangio managed to get the most out of them to become a top defensive secondary. Adding a top-flight corner and possibly another to this secondary will bolster depth and become a better back end.

Meanwhile, linebacker is one of the strongest areas of depth that needed addressing. The starters are Todd Davis and Alexander Johnson. But after that, the possibilities are endless of who to choose from. More importantly, Davis is an underrated linebacker in run defense. However, his coverage is up and down. Denver needs a linebacker that can run sideline to sideline like Fred Warner in San Francisco. This addition came in the draft.

Who are these five players that can be impact rookies?
