Elijah Wilkinson, Denver Broncos
DENVER, CO – DECEMBER 22: Elijah Wilkinson will be a part of the team moving forward.

The Broncos will keep 9 offensive linemen

Though I don’t think he is a threat to take the starting spot, Wilkinson will be kept around as a valuable piece of the team. He will be ready to slide in at a moment’s notice for either Bolles or James.

Muti is going to make the team simply because there is just too much upside with him. He is a tough, physical player who can become a road grater for the team down the road. His injury history is of major concern, but the chance to develop in Denver’s system will be huge. I don’t believe he can be safely stashed on the practice squad as it’s likely another team would swoop in and grab him. Maybe the Jets would look for some revenge in that regard?

The starting experience gained by Schlottmann last year makes him a solid option going forward. He is another guy the Broncos can call off the bench and be able to count on in a pinch.

Finally, the team will keep Morris around to play center should Cushenberry struggle as a rookie. Glasgow can also move over to the center spot, but the Broncos would likely prefer to have at least one guy on the bench who is more of a natural center.

If the team considered keeping 10 offensive linemen, Anderson is an interesting player as well.

Which players will be placed on the practice squad?

There are a lot of players to sort through here, but the Broncos will likely keep at least two of these linemen on the practice squad. It’s a sheer guess at this point as there is plenty to be decided upon this summer, but right now, Anderson and Bailey, two guys who can play tackle, would be among the best options.
