Las Vegas Raiders: WR Henry Ruggs III & S Tanner Muse

Henry Ruggs III

Ah, the wide receiver that many thought the Broncos would select in this year’s draft. The biggest threat of Ruggs’ game is his speed. Of the top-three wide receivers in this year’s class, Ruggs is the fastest, and that is a big reason the Raiders took him.

They want to try to match up with the Kansas City Chiefs as much as possible—as do the Broncos and Chargers. The Chiefs, of course, have Tyreek Hill.

Hopefully, the Broncos are able to figure out who to match up with Ruggs. The loss of Chris Harris Jr. hurts, but the Broncos are getting Bryce Callahan back. They also have Kareem Jackson at safety along with A.J. Bouye, De’Vante Bausby, and others.

Tanner Muse

I realize that former Clemson safety Tanner Muse was not drafted in the first round, but he is another player who I think will be bad news for the Broncos. However, Muse will be making a transition from safety to linebacker in the NFL.

Muse is likely going to be a problem for opposing rushing attacks. With Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay becoming a two-headed monster in Denver, will they be able to perform at a high level against a team that has Muse?

Being a former safety, Muse has the ability to cover tight ends. He is also a solid tackler.
