Looking ahead to the Denver Broncos’ 2021 NFL Draft needs.

John Elway stated at his pre-draft press conference that the Denver Broncos’ scouting department had already begun their preliminary work on the 2021 NFL Draft class.

Although Elway and his front office have assembled a very talented young roster, there’s no question this team will have areas to address in the 2021 NFL Draft, which appears to be yet another very intriguing, very deep class of prospects.

Looking ahead to the 2021 offseason and the Broncos’ projected free agents as well as the strengths of the 2021 NFL Draft on paper, what will the Broncos’ top needs be?

So much can change between now and then, but for now, the Broncos don’t appear to be in the market for a first-round quarterback or wide receiver, and they don’t seem to need interior offensive linemen.

The Broncos also aren’t likely going to be in the first-round tight end market for the 2021 NFL Draft, and it’s unlikely with both Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay likely back for 2021 that the team would go running back in round one, either.

After two straight draft classes with a huge focus on the offensive side of the ball, the Broncos could return to prioritizing the defense early in the 2021 NFL Draft as well as the offensive tackle position.

Let’s take a look through the team’s top projected needs for the 2021 NFL Draft as of right now and a couple of players to keep your eyes on at each position.
