Devontae Booker – Weeks 10 & 17 vs. Raiders

Now we start getting into the former Broncos that signed with the divisional rivals. First up is Devontae Booker, who had a rough go of things during his time in Denver.

It just appeared as if he never really got things going once he fumbled the football on his first carry with the team. Do not get me wrong, he did have some bright spots in Denver. But the negatives outweighed the positives.

Soon after, players like Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay came into the fold. From there, it was going to be really difficult for him to get on the field. He quietly hit free agency during this offseason and quietly signed with the Las Vegas Raiders shortly after the NFL Draft.

Will the Broncos see him on the field by week ten, when the first meeting is? It is tough to say at this point. But I also would not be surprised either. It will come down to whom they have in their room at the running back position.

The Broncos just need to hope that Booker does not run wild on them in the two meetings in 2020. But with the improvements on the defensive line this offseason, that might not be a tricky challenge.
