Is time running out for tight end Jake Butt?

Denver has seven tight ends. Noah Fant, Nick Vannett, and Albert Okwuegbunam al figure to be locks. The question here is whether or not the team keeps a fourth player at the position.

Jake Butt, Jeff Heuerman, Austin Fort, and Troy Fumagalli are the other tight ends.

Butt could be the guy that needs the on-field work the most. He has to prove that he is able to stay healthy while performing at a high level to make the team.

Butt has gotten injured way too much and eventually, his chances of making the roster figure to run out unless he can find a way to remain on the field.

But he is just one of those players that injuries seem to find. It is very unfortunate, but that’s just the way it goes sometimes.
