Jacksonville Jaguars

It’s likely that just about anyone in Jacksonville could be traded. There have been reports that the team could be looking to move running back Leonard Fournette. Whether they do or not, the team could still add a guy like Freeman.

Freeman could be a solid option behind Fournette in the backfield and if the team does move on from its former No.1 pick, Freeman could even be vaulted to a starting role on somewhat of a trial basis.

This is a team the Broncos could even try to squeeze a bit more out of in a potential trade.

In this scenario, the Broncos would move up two rounds in next year’s draft while also acquiring a young defensive back in Jarrod Wilson who could be a backup safety for the team.

Wilson has grown in Jacksonville’s system, going from an undrafted free agent to a guy who made 74 tackles and had two interceptions last season. He has also played in 47 of a potential 48 games for the team.

The Broncos are set at safety with Justin Simmons and Kareem Jackson, but if one of them were to go down, the depth chart is thin behind them.

All three of these teams have a potentially better fit for Freeman than the one he is in with the Broncos. Of course, the Broncos might determine that holding onto Freeman and finding a role for him even with Gordon and Lindsay on the team is a better move than any of these possible trade scenarios and any other they might receive.
