Do you think Phillip Lindsay can eclipse a third-straight 1,000-yard season?

Angel from New York City

A: Phillip Lindsay has been a great addition to the Denver Broncos’ offense since becoming another undrafted free agent find. There is no doubt that he has the potential for another 1,000-yard season.

New Broncos offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur had a great running back to utilize in New York with Saquon Barkley. The Giants really did not have anything past Barkley in the run game, with quarterback Daniel Jones the second-leading rusher on the team. Yes, you read that correctly.

That being said, the Broncos added former Chargers running back Melvin Gordon into the mix, and he figures to be a big part of the offense. Gordon may even out-carry Lindsay by the end of the season.

Running back-by-committee is not a good strategy when it comes to becoming a 1,000-yard back. Sure, it will keep Lindsay fresh throughout the season, but what will the distribution of the carries look like?
