TE Jake Butt

There is a lack of social distancing in the tight ends room for the Broncos and the team is going to have to kick some of them out.

The Broncos currently have seven tight ends on the roster, including 2020 draft pick Albert Okwuegbanum. He and second-year player Noah Fant are locks to make the roster in 2020, with Jeff Heuerman, Nick Vannett, Butt, Troy Fumagalli and Austin Fort being the other tight ends on the roster.

I believe that Vannett will also probably be a lock to make the team, as he signed a two-year deal that guarantees him $2.5 million.

Butt sees a tough rough ahead of him, as he just cannot seem to stay healthy. If he does end up being healthy for the entire 2020 season, he is going to need to make the most of the opportunities he gets. Those opportunities appear to be minimal with the depth at the position.
