CB Bryce Callahan

While Bryce Callahan is not in danger of getting cut, he still needs to show that he can perform at a high level for the Broncos. Callahan missed the entire 2019 season — his first season with the team — with a foot injury.

He has shown that he can play at a high level and has played for now-Broncos head coach Vic Fangio when both were with the Chicago Bears.

Callahan will be CB2 on the other side of the field of where former Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback A.J. Bouye will line up. It’s an entirely new starting cornerback group, with Chris Harris Jr. leaving for the Lo Angeles Chargers and Yiadom/Davontae Harris seeing extensive action after Callahan’s injury.

But with Harris Jr. gone, the Broncos hope that Callahan will be able to live up to expectations in 2020. I think he will.
