WR DaeSean Hamilton
DaeSean Hamilton will be fighting for a spot on the 2020 Broncos roster following the arrivals of Jerry Jeudy, K.J. Hamler and Tyrie Cleveland at wide receiver.
While he did finish third on the team in targets during the 2019 season, he caught 28 passes for just 298 yards and one touchdown. I don’t expect the team to have two 1,000-yard receivers but it would be awesome if Hamilton showed more.
At this point, with Jeudy and Hamler on the roster, Hamilton will be no more than a WR4, WR5 option for the Broncos. Who knows how many receivers the team will keep in 2020? The team has a bunch of players fighting for the last couple of spots at receiver.
This will be a fun battle to keep an eye on when/if training camp happens, and going forward. Maybe he needs to gain more chemistry with Drew Lock becoming the QB1. That may do the trick. But as of right now, he may have to really, really fight for his job.
