Broncos schedule 2020: Toughest stretch of the season
at New York Jets (TNF), (Week 4)
This will be the first short week of Drew Lock’s young career as a starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos.
To travel all the way across the country on a short week is brutal. To do so against a team that allowed the seventh-fewest first downs and fifth-fewest yards per play defensively in 2019, this could be a tough one for the Broncos.
The Broncos run defense is pretty strong, but it could be a solid challenge going up against Leveon Bell and the ageless wonder, Frank Gore.
It will be fun to see if the Jets are able to cover all of the Broncos’ offensive weapons, as Denver has Phillip Lindsay and Melvin Gordon at running back, and a receiving position that features Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and K.J. Hamler.
Drew Lock also has Noah Fant to throw to. Hopefully, Lock will be able to find time to throw, while C.J Mosley is in his face.
