Week 1: vs. New Orleans Saints

A huge test for the Broncos right off the bat would be a potential offensive shootout in the Mile High City. Drew Lock vs. Drew Brees to kick off the 2020 season for the Broncos is sure to produce some fireworks.

When looking up the series history between these two teams, I was surprised at how dominant the Broncos were in the series. They have won nine of the11 matchups all-time. In fact, you have to go back to 1994 the last time the Saints were able to get a win over the Broncos.

Over 20 years of dominance for the Broncos against the Saints. But it has not always been easy. Two of the last three meetings have been decided by two points. It took a Justin Simmons blocked extra point returned by Will Parks all the way back to get the win for the Broncos.

How will the 12th all-time meeting between these two go this year? I believe it promises to be a solid matchup. If this game does kick off the 2020 season for both teams, I would not be surprised at all if it comes down to the final possession. Hoping for a good game.
