Week 14  – at Las Vegas Raiders

The Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders would conclude their season series at the new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as a late-season battle. From the looks of the outside, the Raiders’ new stadium looks alright. But having it all black almost has like a Death Star-like appearance. Seeing as how some Raiders fans wear Darth Vader masks as their costumes at the home games, it makes all the sense in the world.

Like with the Chargers, the late-season matchups against the Raiders can get a little dicey, no matter if it is a home game for the Raiders or Broncos. That can be said by virtue of the score or the tempers flaring. No tempers flared the last meeting, at least as far as I can remember. But the game was close.

The Broncos were at home hoping to close out a season that finished with a lot of promise. The Raiders were trying to thwart that. If not for a Shelby Harris batted down pass, the Raiders likely would have finished 8-8 and the Broncos 6-10. But both teams would finish 7-9.

This game at this point in the season could also determine second place at least in the AFC West. So expect a big-time showdown in Sin City.
