Week 13 – vs. Tennessee Titans

How tough would this stretch be? Having to face the two teams who were in the AFC Championship Game just last season in consecutive weeks? It likely will not happen. But hey, just predicting here. Either way, the Broncos and Titans get to a rematch after their game last season. Denver would honor Champ Bailey and Pat Bowlen with a 16-0 shutout win over Tennessee.

It proved to be the turning point for the Tennessee Titans. The team started their first six games with Marcus Mariota at the helm. During the Broncos game, Mike Vrabel decided to bench Marota in favor of Tannehill. It proves to help them out as the Titans would find a way into the postseason as the sixth seed.

Then, they would pull off the unthinkable. First, they knocked off the defending champion Patriots at Foxboro. Then they would knock off the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens the following weekend. Sadly, they would fall one game short of reaching the Super Bowl for only the second time in franchise history.

The Titans rewarded Tannehill in the offseason. That reward came in the amount of $118 million dollars over the next four years. Not too bad if I say so myself. I will be interested to see how he performs. But the Titans apparently have their guy.
