Week 12 – at Kansas City Chiefs
At long last, the Denver Broncos get their first crack at the Super Bowl Champions. Broncos Country was gutted when they saw their divisional rivals won it all following the 2019 season. It seemed as if the San Francisco 49ers were going to get the win. But it just was not meant to be.
Now that the Broncos have 10 games under their belts, and potentially the push for the playoffs beginning, a huge test of the season would be to go into Arrowhead as the end of fall would be approaching.
What we all noticed during the draft were the AFC West teams not named Kansas City drafting players to help keep pace with them. Denver might have been the most successful one on paper with the selection of Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler.
But Kansas City will be tough. Denver has not won a game against the Chiefs since week two of the 2015 season, which was Denver’s Super Bowl-winning season. It is tough to say anything will change, especially going into Arrowhead so late in the season. But here is to hoping that the fortunes will turn around in Denver when it comes to facing Kansas City.
