Broncos schedule 2020: Predicting all 16 matchups
By Tylor Walden
Week 10- at Carolina Panthers
It has been a while since the Broncos have faced another NFC opponent. Even more so it has been some time since the Broncos faced off against the Carolina Panthers. But this game will have a little different feel for it.
The former NFL Most Valuable Player in 2015 will not be the signal-caller. Cam Newton has fallen down since that 2015 season. During this offseason, the Panthers have decided to go in a new direction and have cut ties with the quarterback.
Now the team will be led by Teddy Bridgewater, who spent some time with the New Orleans Saints, even starting in a few games that helped lead the team to the postseason. How will he do in his first full season as the starter in a while? Hopefully, he finds some success.
The name to keep an eye on in Carolina is Christian McCaffrey. He is the son of Ed McCaffrey, who was part of the two Super Bowl wins in the 90s. Christian has been really good for the Panthers since joining them in 2017. Denver’s biggest test for this game will be containing the star running back. If the run defense has improved, that should be answered then.
