@ Chiefs

Another division opponent. This matchup has not been kind to the Denver Broncos for quite some time.

The last time the Broncos defeated the Chiefs was in a September matchup in 2015. The Broncos won 31-24.

This time could be different, however. The Broncos will head into Arrowhead with Drew Lock leading the offense. They will be bringing running backs Phillip Lindsay and Melvin Gordon, as well as receivers Courtland Sutton and rookies Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler.

The Broncos have their own speedster in Hamler to match up with Kansas City’s Tyreek Hill. Both players can hurt their opponent’s defense.

It will be fun to see Von Miller and Bradley Chubb get after Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes next season (and years to come). While Mahomes is phenomenal, it will always be a challenge when facing two edge rushers of Miller and Chubb’s abilities.

When it comes to primetime games, it is important to have two strong, competitive teams. The Broncos were quite competitive and fun to watch in the last five weeks of the 2019 season, when Drew Lock took over.
