The Denver Broncos have a loaded tight end room, setting the stage for an interesting competition at the position this summer.

The Broncos used their first-round pick on Noah Fant last year after trading down in the draft and he showed signs of blossoming into one of the game’s dynamic young tight ends. There are high hopes for him to be the guy at tight end for the team for some time to come.

But the team has drafted several players at the position in recent years.

2015, 3rd round: Jeff Heuerman

2017, 5th round: Jake Butt

2018, 5th round: Troy Fumagalli

2020, 4th round: Albert Okwuegbunam

The Broncos have been looking to adequately fill this position for several years and have spent five draft picks to do so in the last six drafts. The team also signed Nick Vannett this offseason, a player with experience in the league and one who should push all of these guys for a roster spot.

Currently, the Broncos have seven tight ends on the team (Bug Howard was released earlier in the week, or there would be eight). How many of these guys will make this year’s final roster? There are a couple you can pencil in as locks to do so, but a couple of them will have to prove their worth in order to continue their careers in Denver.

What are the odds for each of the players mentioned above to be part of the Broncos’ 2020 plans? Read on to find out.
