Defensive Linemen

Shelby Harris, Jurrell Casey, Mike Purcell, Dre’Mont Jones, DeMarcus Walker, McTelvin Agim, Christian Covington (7)

I strongly believe that these six players are all locks to make the roster in 2020.

Shelby Harris was re-signed by the team in early April. Despite his deal only being for one year, I think that he has done enough to show that he is a solid piece to the team’s defensive line rotation.

The Broncos traded for Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey this offseason and I honestly could not be more excited. Casey comes to the Broncos with nine years on his resumé, and 51 sacks. He’s a dominant defensive tackle, something that the Broncos could greatly benefit from.

Dre’Mont Jones, Mike Purcell, and DeMarcus Walker all had solid seasons last year. After being in the wrong position during the first two seasons of his career, Walker found a home on the defensive line and his production really increased.

Purcell was a great free agent pickup by the Broncos after bouncing around the league since 2013. He had 48 tackles for the Broncos in 2019, including eight tackles for loss.

McTelvin Agim is a big defensive tackle who should see some time in the rotation at defensive tackle along with Casey.
