Denver Broncos: Get to know the team’s 2020 UDFA class
Zimari Manning, wide receiver, Tarleton State
We all thought the 25 touchdowns Henry Ruggs had on 100 career touches at Alabama were impressive, but Harlon Hill (the Division II Heisman) finalist Zimari Manning scored 22 touchdowns on just 68 receptions in 2019.
Listed at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Manning shows unbelievable confidence at the wide receiver position, especially after the catch and at the catch point.
He has strong hands and a playmaker’s mentality. We’ll see if this small-school superstar can make the quick jump to the NFL level.
Hunter Watts, offensive tackle, Central Arkansas
Many were shocked that the Broncos didn’t take an offensive tackle in the 2020 NFL Draft. After the draft, they only signed one guy, Hunter Watts out of Central Arkansas.
According to the man himself, the Broncos liked his aggressiveness the best of all his traits.
A hulking 6-foot-8 tackle, Watts could be a fun developmental prospect to watch for Denver.
