The Denver Broncos are looking ahead to a promising future with the moves made in the last couple years. Bringing in Aaron Rodgers would be ill-advised.

After what was a solid draft for the Broncos, the team is in good spirits in the hopes they can return back to the postseason after a long layoff from Super Bowl 50. The right moves have been made for the most part as the team found some solid defensive help in free agency and via trades.

Offensive help was made in the draft.

So, what else could the team need to boost their offense? According to Chris Crouse over at Heavy.com, Aaron Rodgers could be the player the Broncos could use to get back to the big game.

Over the NFL draft weekend, the Green Bay Packers drafted Jordan Love with their first-round pick. It was a move that was very surprising, to say the least. Instead of getting another wideout that they could have picked up, they decided to use a first-round pick on a quarterback.

What exactly does this mean? Is there more to this pick than we know? All of it is speculation, but if something were to happen and Rodgers was not a Packer by next offseason, Crouse has a suggestion where he could go: To Broncos Country.

He states that it could be a similar situation to when John Elway brought in Peyton Manning for the final leg of his career. But that was a completely different situation.

What Elway saw was how much potential his team had to win a championship. While Tim Tebow brought them their first playoff win since 2005 back then, it was clear he would not be starting material.

Currently, the Broncos have a young signal-caller in Drew Lock who could work out to be the franchise quarterback for a decade, if not even longer. To stunt his development for a couple of seasons would be a complete disservice to the young quarterback.

Let us also remember that Rodgers will turn 37 years old before the 2020 season is over. There is no telling how long he will be playing in the league. As far as we know, his current contract could be his last. It would be ridiculous for the Broncos to even entertain the idea of bringing in Rodgers.

I am sorry, but to say the Broncos could look to pursue Rodgers would not be ideal for both parties. Denver is likely going to be making a big splash with the current moves.

There is no need for a quarterback who could be on his final years to stall that movement for a not even sure-fire win probability increase.
