Most of the wide receivers

We knew that Courtland Sutton will be WR1. We now know the direction the Denver Broncos will be going at the top/middle of the position.

The Broncos drafted Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler in back-to-back rounds. They took Tyrie Cleveland out of Florida in the seventh round.

Beyond the three are Daesean Hamilton, Tim Patrick, Juwann Winfree, Fred Brown, and Kelvin McKnight.

It is going to be interesting to see the competition for the fourth and fifth wide receiver spots. But the fact that the Broncos drafted two—which is by no means a surprise—is very bad news for most of the receivers on the roster.

Some of the many tight ends

The Broncos have a ton of tight ends on the roster, and they just added another one in the mix with Albert Okwuegbunam out of Missouri.

One of the players who appears to be at high risk of losing his spot on the roster is Jake Butt. Butt has unfortunately been unable to get onto the field for an extended period of time for the Broncos. He is injured all the time. At some point, I expect the Broncos to move on from Butt. That time could be now.

Patrick Morris, center

Well, so much for the Denver Broncos being extremely confident in Patrick Morris. Morris was expected to be the starting center for the 2020 season following Connor McGovern’s departure to the New York Jets.

But then LSU center Lloyd Cushenberry fell onto the Broncos’ lap with the 83rd overall pick.

Cushenberry was, in my opinion, one of the most exciting picks by the Broncos over the last three days.

Next. Reacting to Denver Broncos selection of Justin Strnad. dark

Hopefully the additions the Denver Broncos have made on the offensive line will answer and stop any questions that people have in regards to the unit. They’re making some changes and I anticipate the group to be awesome within the next couple of years.
