Justin Strnad, ILB

It was important for the Broncos to address the inside linebacker position in the draft. The Broncos have struggled to cover tight ends for a while and they are fully aware of that.

That’s a big part of why they selected Wake Forest inside linebacker Justin Strnad.

I know that Strnad is not the fastest (4.74 40-yard dash), but tight ends are also not typically much faster so he should be fine.

Strnad should play a decent role in run defense. He recorded 244 tackle during his collegiate career at Wake Forest.

I look forward to seeing how much of an impact Strnad can make on the roster that desperately needs help at inside linebacker.
