Shaquille Quarterman

While it has not been a huge need by the Denver Broncos, it would not be a bad idea to look into the inside linebacker position. My hope, while looking at some prospects still left on the big board, was that a solid one would fall.

That did not become the case. But the Broncos would have a solid player in Shaquille Quarterman if they went the linebacker route in the sixth round. He has shown he could be a strong leader during his time at Miami, as he was a four-year starter at the school. He is a sure-fire tackler, recording 80-plus tackles in all four years of his collegiate career. The big year came during his senior year, where he recorded 107 tackles.

Draft analysts do not see him as a starter in the league, but his tackling and dedication to the game could land him a role on special teams and some snaps on defense.

Even though it is very unlikely he will get to see the field much in the NFL, he could be a great addition to any team in the NFL. I know for certain that I would be excited if the Broncos drafted him.
