Amik Robertson

The fact that Amik Robertson is still available on the third day of the draft is a bit surprising. However, looking at the grand scheme of things, it probably was expected since he did not play for a Power Five school. However, we did see some division two talent on day two of the draft be selected by teams.

Denver double-dipped on wide receiver in this draft, I would not be surprised if the team decided to do the same at the cornerback position. Especially with how the room at cornerback looks right now.

Amik Robertson brings such a strong skill set to the Denver Broncos defense. His sure-fire tackling and ability to make the big play when it comes to turning the football over is something that I would be focused in on when I am selecting a cornerback.

I firmly believe that if the Broncos were to draft Robertson, he could compete for a starting position on the defense. Due to the uncertainty of Bryce Callahan, he could fit well in the nickel cornerback spot if the former Chicago Bear is not healthy.

This would be another steal for the Denver Broncos in my books if they got Robertson.
