IOL Tyler Biadasz, Wisconsin

At this point, I give it a 50% chance that Denver actually makes a selection at this spot. I think they will likely use this pick to make a trade up at some point or fall back into the early parts of the fourth round, but if they stay here, I like the options they have.

After filling both wide receiver holes, grabbing a cornerback, and taking an offensive tackle, the Denver Broncos should be looking to grab an interior offensive lineman, defensive lineman or an inside linebacker. As I mentioned before, I do think there is an outside chance they look to add another safety early, but I don’t think there is a good fit here at this pick (although, look for Geno Stone in the fourth or fifth).

After grabbing Lucas Niang in the middle of the third, the Broncos grab an interior offensive lineman in Wisconsin’s Tyler Biadasz. Biadasz was a three-year starter for the Wisconsin Badgers powerful rushing attack, and during that time he earned First Team All-Big Ten honors and All-American honors. He was also named a finalist for the Outland Trophy Award.

While there are concerns about his pass protection and strength limitation, with his great fundamentals and high football IQ, he could step in and be a solid day one starter for the Denver Broncos. And his presence would provide Denver’s offensive line a bit of flexibility when it comes to where they play prized free-agent signee Graham Glasgow.

If the Denver Broncos can walk away with this haul on day two of the NFL Draft, it would fill nearly every need Elway’s squad had entering the draft leaving them with an immense amount of flexibility on day three of the draft.
