WR Laviska Shenault Jr, Colorado

This scenario would be a dream for the Denver Broncos. With a loaded wide receiver group, Colorado Buffs wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr could still be available at this point for John Elway. And if he is, I don’t know how you say no.

Shenault was considered a first-round prospect heading into the 2020 season, however, his stock has dropped with a dip in production, injury concerns, and poor combine testing being the biggest factors. Yet, the potential is tantalizing.

He’s built like a running back, shows great quickness, has excellent after the catch traits, and is familiar with all three wide receiver spots. While there are still concerns on the defensive side of the field, the chance to form a wide receiver trio that could become the best in the NFL in a year or two is too great of an opportunity to pass up as the Denver Broncos try to build around second-year starting quarterback Drew Lock.

If not Shenault, I think the Denver Broncos could look to package this pick with one of their other thirds to move up into the second (and potentially grab Shenault or another guy who is dropping), or take an offensive lineman with this pick.
