Wins the jump ball battles

We all know in Broncos Country that Courtland Sutton can contest for the football if the ball is up in the air. One of Sutton’s strengths is being able to compete with the cornerback to come down with the ball, which is likely going to be seen in the end zone.

Why not have a Broncos offense where two receivers can do that? Because that is another trait that Jerry Jeudy brings to the table. There have been plenty of times where he has contested for the football against other cornerbacks and won.

What he does is use his 6-foot-1 frame to get the cornerbacks away from the football to the point where he is the only person that can make a play on the football. Winning those battles in the end zone can be the difference between winning and losing games. Now that Denver has two receivers that have success in jump ball receptions should help out wonders for the offense.

It will be great that Drew Lock will have two options in each corner of the end zone to go in this situation.
