Route Running

One of the biggest strengths of Jerry Jeudy during his time in Alabama was his route running ability. And there is no doubt that this is something that the Denver Broncos are going to need in their young wide receiver.

Jeudy’s route tree was solid and his ability to juke out defending cornerbacks was something worth noting when doing some film study on him. No matter if it is a slant or an out route, he has found a way to use his legs to separate himself to get open.

And that will be so important for the Denver Broncos offense, especially when it comes to third-down conversions that are of the short-yardage variety. If there comes a point where the Broncos are faced with a third down and four to seven yards to go, there is no doubt Jeudy could get open and use his quick movement to get the slant pass from Drew Lock.

The Broncos have shown they struggle to move the football on third down. Having a player that can move the ball will keep the offense on the field and perhaps lead to more points. It would be a nice change of pace for the Broncos.
