WR Tim Patrick

A question that I have thought about when it comes to the Denver Broncos’ receiver roster is, “which receivers on this team could start for another team in the league?”

Tim Patrick may be able to secure a starting role with the Minnesota Vikings, who traded disgruntled starter Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills.

Patrick would be a nice solid target for Kirk Cousins to pair with the team’s No. 1 receiver in Adam Thielen. His tall frame allows him to be a pretty good contested-catch target.

Why would the Denver Broncos trade Patrick? The answer is simple.

They want to—and will—address the receiver position in the 2020 NFL Draft. It is highly expected that they take one in the first round, which takes place tonight. They could also very well take more than one when it’s all said and done, and the NFL Draft comes to an end.

Patrick went undrafted in 2017 but has shown some nice things for the Broncos, but they could move on.
